2026 Construction Project Map

🚧Monitor Township-Managed Paving Projects🚧
Paving improvements are scheduled at the following locations:
📍Briar Farms Subdivision - designated portions of Schauman Drive, Schauman Court, and Reppuhn Drive: September 8-23, 2026 📍Kasemeyer Road - from Fisher Road to Salzburg Road: September 24-October 18, 2026 📍Fisher Road - from 2 Mile Road to Baxman Road: October 19-November 15, 2026 These projects are managed by Monitor Township through its consultant, with BCRC approvals. ⚠️ Expect temporary traffic restrictions and delays. Dates are subject to change due to weather or site conditions.

🚧🛣️Midland Road (Garfield to 11 Mile) 🛣️🚧
Beginning Monday, July 13, Midland Road will be closed to through traffic for approximately four months for Phase II Road reconstruction.
🚜All businesses will remain accessible, and the 11 Mile Road intersection will remain open for northbound and southbound traffic.

🚧 Midland Road Weekly Construction Update 🚧

Crews will install a new 12-inch sewer main Tuesday through Thursday and fill the existing storm sewer. On Thursday, the storm sewer crossing near houses 1418–1419 will be replaced.

⛔ The road will be completely closed to through traffic at this location on Thursday.

Shoulder trenching and aggregate base installation are scheduled for Friday and Saturday. Please use caution around the work zone and expect possible delays. Construction schedules are subject to change due to weather and site conditions.
