A Public Hearing on the proposed 2026 Budget for the Department of Water and Sewer, County of Bay, will be held on Wednesday, November 12, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. and will be conducted at the Bay County Road Commission Administrative Building located at 2600 East Beaver Road, Kawkawlin, Michigan.

Current Construction Projects
Midland Road
Details: Road reconstruction, including the pulverization of the existing pavement surface, shoulder widening, sidewalk installation (north side), new HMA pavement and the replacement of all drainage (sewers and culverts) through the project limits. Road is closed to all traffic - All traffic must follow the signed detour route. Exception - ONLY Residents and business traffic accessing properties in the affected area may travel within the work zone, but please drive cautiously as work is ongoing and expect delays.
