NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

Notice is hereby given that a public hearing will be held on the 23^rd day of July, 2025, at 9:15 a.m., at the offices of the Bay County Road Commission (BCRC), 2600 East Beaver Road, Kawkawlin, MI 48631, to consider a Petition for the Absolute Abandonment and Discontinuance of;

That portion of Four Mile Road located in Monitor Township, Bay County, MI along the section line between Sections 22 and 23, T14N R4E, beginning 200’ south of the section corner located at the intersection of Four Mile Road and Midland Road, continuing to a point approximately 1047’ south and/or the beginning of the previously abandoned section of Four Mile Road that ended at the existing Michigan Department of Transportation right-of-way for US-10.

The public will have an opportunity to provide testimony associated with the request presented in the Petition.  At the conclusion of the Public Hearing, the BCRC Board may discuss the testimony heard and rule on the Petition at that time. 

Written testimony will be accepted by the BCRC prior to the date and time of the Public Hearing, as stated above, and can be sent to/dropped off at the address listed above.

The Bay County Road Commission will provide necessary and reasonable auxiliary aids and services for disabled persons upon request.  Voice 989-686-4610, TDD 1-800-649-3777.

That portion of North Southeast Boutell Road located in Hampton Township, Bay County, MI in Section 12, T14N R5E, beginning at the north right-of-way line of Arms Road to appoint approximately 475 feet north of said line and/or to the existing gate delineating the property owned by Consumers Energy.

The public will have an opportunity to provide testimony associated with the request presented in the Petition.  At the conclusion of the Public Hearing, the BCRC Board may discuss the testimony heard and rule on the Petition at that time. 

Written testimony will be accepted by the BCRC prior to the date and time of the Public Hearing, as stated above, and can be sent to/dropped off at the address listed above.
